So far this year, we’ve had a record number of people join us for The Victory Summit® events, rides, walks and a variety of other fundraisers; order our Every Victory Counts® manual and read our blog and engage on our social media channels. And because of that, we’ve seen our impact grow. (Download our 2018 Impact Report here.)
We’re thrilled that each year we’re helping more and more people live well with Parkinson’s.
The icing on the cake? The year isn’t over yet. So, in case you wanted to know how you can get involved, we wanted to remind you of all of our upcoming events and invite you to train and/or fundraise for some of our most popular cycling events in 2019. From The Victory Summit® event in Seattle to Sidekicks™ in Reno and a ride up and down some of Colorado’s most beautiful mountain passes, we have something for everyone.
And it doesn’t end there.
Do you have a love affair with wine? Perhaps you could host a wine and cheese party to support the Foundation.
Maybe your kids or grandkids are athletes. You could rent a table at a game, sell your famous cookies and donate the proceeds in honor of someone you love who has Parkinson’s.
Or maybe you’d like to host a 24-hour dance-a-thon, a Saturday indoor row-fest at your local gym or a party at your local boxing club.
The possibilities to get involved and help more people live well with Parkinson’s are endless. Whether you want to join us for an educational event, or you want to try your hand at fundraising, we’re here to support you.
To download fundraising ideas, sample email templates you can tweak and send to friends and family and/or a sample fundraising letter, visit our Victory Crew resource page here. You can also check what incentives you can earn based on how much money you raise.
Have an idea for a fundraiser and you’d love to talk it through with a seasoned Davis Phinney Foundation Victory Crew member? Email or call us at 1-720-259-0907. We’d love to support you in bringing your ideas and event to life.
