Fight Back Against Depression and Anxiety in Parkinson’s

Depression and anxiety affect many people with Parkinson’s disease. Quality of life can decline and Parkinson’s symptoms can worsen if the conditions are left untreated. A panel of experts addressed this important topic at The Victory Summit presented by the Davis Phinney Foundation. This webisode defines what depression and anxiety are, discusses the wide variety of symptoms that can indicate presence of one or both conditions and offers a range of coping strategies. The panelist are: Sarah Lageman, PhD, ABPP/CN, Virginia Commonwealth University; Carol Manning, PhD, ABPP/CN, University of Virginia; Bonnie Sachs, PhD, Virginia Commonwealth University.
