The Davis Phinney Foundation is the National Presenting Partner for the Partners in Parkinson’s series in 2014. Partners in Parkinson’s has been developed by the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and AbbVie to provide educational tools and resources for the Parkinson’s community.

The Davis Phinney Foundation has been working together with the Michael J. Fox Foundation to develop and present a breakout session focused on practical strategies for living well today at each of the Partners in Parkinson’s events. This collaboration between organizations offers an exciting opportunity to spread our message of taking action in order to live well today with Parkinson’s and to help increase education and awareness about the disease.

In addition to presenting this breakout session on living well with Parkinson’s, the Davis Phinney Foundation will be present as an exhibitor at each event’s resource fair in an effort to connect more people to the range of resources we have available. Our participation in the Partners in Parkinson’s events complements our own educational events, notably The Victory Summit® symposia series, now in its sixth year as the first event of its kind, focused solely on what people with Parkinson’s can do now to improve their quality of life. Partnerships like this one with the Michael J. Fox Foundation benefit the Parkinson’s community with access to a greater number of resources to support wellness and enable the Davis Phinney Foundation to continue to lead the conversation about living well today with Parkinson’s across the United States.
