logo dpf vc About Victory Crew®Created to answer those who ask, “How can I help?” the Victory Crew® program is designed to support all grassroots fundraising efforts that benefit the Davis Phinney Foundation – no matter how big or small.

As a member of the Victory Crew, you can raise money for the Davis Phinney Foundation in many ways, from a popsicle stand on a hot day, to riding in a local bike ride, or climbing a mountain. The unifying goal is to help the Davis Phinney Foundation reach more people with this message: it is possible to live well with Parkinson’s today.

So how can you help?

You can turn almost any event or activity into a fundraiser supporting the Davis Phinney Foundation. Designate the next organized event that you participate in – 10k, half-marathon, triathlon, mountain expedition, the possibilities are endless – as a fundraiser for the Davis Phinney Foundation. Here are just a few possibilities:

  • Hold a local car wash
  • Create a dance-a-thon or  walk-a-thon
  • Host a lemonade stand
  • Organize a pancake breakfast
  • Turn your next bike ride, 5k run  or triathlon into a pledge event for the Davis Phinney Foundation

Join a planned event with an existing Davis Phinney Foundation team.

Friends for Phinney Coast to Coast
Victory Crew members Kevin Cartin, Kathleen Donohue, Tom Casey, and Rick Baker put two years of fundraising scheming to the pedal this past summer. On July 20th, 2013, this team of four riders, Davis Phinney's High school friends from Boulder, took to the road on a bike tour to raise money and awareness along the way for the Davis Phinney Foundation. The Friends for Phinney Coast to Coast started in in July in Oceanside, CA, and finished in New York City. Read why they rode, take a look at the route they followed, and more importantly, support their cause!  You can also purchase an insulated Davis Phinney Foundation Polar Bottle with $5 of the proceeds for each bottle sold benefiting the Foundation.
